The Aparajita Bill in West Bengal plans to enforce the death penalty for all rape incidents, even those where the victim survives. It also aims to speed up sex crime and acid attack trials and demands stricter punishments for disclosing survivors’ identities. Law Minister Moloy Ghatak is set to introduce the bill in the assembly.
