IndiGo’s Mumbai airport operations have been severely impacted by a turf war between two unions, Bharatiya Kamgar Sena (BKS) and Hawai Karmachari Sena (Hakse), over wheelchair job allocations. Frequent flash strikes and reassignments have delayed baggage handling and flights, affecting thousands of passengers. The conflict centers on IndiGo’s ground-handling subsidiary, Agile Airports Services, ongoing since July.
