Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed regret for the collapse of the Shivaji Maharaj statue in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra. The statue, unveiled by PM Modi nine months ago, fell due to strong winds. CM Eknath Shinde called the incident unfortunate and promised to reinstall the statue. The opposition criticized the government’s quality control.
