Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has accused the Jharkhand government of spying on former chief minister Champai Soren, who is set to join the BJP. Two police officers were reportedly caught monitoring Soren in Delhi. Soren is expected to resign from his current posts and join the BJP, citing the need to protect tribal identity in Jharkhand.
