The Supreme Court granted bail to BRS leader K Kavitha, questioning the fairness of central agencies’ investigations in the Delhi excise policy scam. After Kavitha had been jailed for over five months, the court noted that further custody was unnecessary as investigations were complete. She was ordered to furnish bail bonds of Rs 10 lakh in each case.
