An Indian passenger bus carrying 40 people plunged into the Marsyangdi river in Nepal’s Tanahun district while heading from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Authorities are working to determine if any people from Uttar Pradesh were involved. This follows a similar incident in July where 65 people were swept into the Trishuli River due to heavy rainfall.
