Start Health & Allied Insurance announced a 10-15% rate increase for certain policies, citing unadjusted hospital costs from COVID-19 and reduced waiting periods for pre-existing conditions. MD & CEO Anand Roy and COO Amitabh Jain revealed that over 30% of policies, including the Family Health Optima Plan, will see hikes, boosting total premium collection by around 4%.
