Reiterating India’s strong efforts to host the 2036 Summer Olympics in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address to the nation on the occasion of Independence Day that the country is preparing for its bid to bring the biggest sporting extravaganza to India. It is also likely that India will bid to host the Youth Olympics in 2030.
