The Supreme Court instructed the Punjab government to convince protesting farmers at Shambhu border to remove tractors from the road for partial reopening. It emphasized that highways are not parking spaces and highlighted the necessity for smooth movement of ambulances and essential services. Punjab and Haryana DGPs were directed to meet for further coordination within a week.
