The gap between CEO and employee pay in IT companies has widened over five years, with only IBM showing a decrease. Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Accenture have seen significant increases in the disparity. Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy suggested fair CEO pay should be 25 to 40 times the lowest-level employee’s salary, but ratios are much higher now.
